The Chemistry Tutor and Greys Anatomy
The Chemistry Tutor and Grey's AnatomyThe Chemistry Teacher and Dr Glazer discuss some of the mechanics of medical chemistry. 'We understand the genetic code, we understand the chemical bonds and the connection between the DNA and the proteins and the enzymes that make it all happen.' And they also see a major difference between chemistry and science.Dr. Glazer is the chemistry teacher in the second season of Grey's Anatomy. Now I am not sure whether she was originally going to be called Dr Glazer, but Grey's cast a very good looker and went with the name they did. While Dr Glazer does discuss some aspects of the mechanics of medical chemistry, she is primarily concerned with teaching the patient. This is very clear when the catheter is not working properly, Dr Glazer explains the physiology of the catheter in medical terms, she is there to teach. The chemistry tutor is more concerned with the chemistry and what happens at the bedside. She demonstrates the chemistry with staining the b lood and how it affects the chemistry. She is of course interested in the outcome for the patient and is quick to inform the patient that he or she needs to see her again. The chemistry tutor is also concerned with the patient's mood, for example she doesn't care if the patient sleeps or doesn't. There are numerous examples throughout the show of the chemistry tutor showing concern about what the patient is feeling and the patient's response. The chemistry tutor is a human being, a teacher and a friend.Grey's Anatomy is an excellent show that has created their own chemistry teacher. You can expect great chemistry lessons from Dr. Glazer. The show also has a very strong character study of the chemistry teacher, as well as a great storyline.Grey's Anatomy and the chemistry tutor have created their own chemistry teacher. Hopefully the chemistry tutor will have her own book, which can cover the different mechanics of chemistry and all the questions that a student might have.
